Libra is a collection inspired by furniture hewn from existing materials to fill an unmet need. Because of this, the design resolution of the collection is intended to feel both new and familiar. This is achieved through the use of slightly oversized proportions and rounded forms that make the tactile experience of using these pieces pleasurable. Libra’s cafe chair, the keystone design, is intended to be read as a sculptural individual chair while also defining interior and exterior space when situated around an office cafe setting.
